The next long ride will leave May 30 , 2012 and return on June 3. Details of the ride are now posted below. All motels along the way are biker friendly. Please join us and have a good time. If you have plans to attend my next ride or ideas of where to go, please send me a message.

**Due to injury and rain on the fall 2011 trip of this route, we will once again attempt to complete our mission. Another day will
be added to this trip (5 days total). We had such a wonderful time, even with the adversity, that I just can't imagine what it will
be like if things go as planned, like that ever happens. Come join us and always have a time to remember.
**We will be leaving at 9 a.m., Wednesday, May 30, 2012 from downtown Eudora, Ks. If it would be easier to meet us at the
gas station in Wellsville (approximately 9:20) or Miss B's restaurant, 1006 South Metcalf Road, in Louisburg, Ks,
(approximately 10:00) please feel free to do so. All expenses such as meals, hotels, gas and shopping are your responsibility. I
just set them up and let you know where I am headed. You may follow me if you wish. You are responsible for making your own
reservations. I supply the phone numbers, of where I will be staying, but you have to make your own calls. Links for the motels
are below. Please let me know when your reservations have been made so I can add you to the list of "adventure seekers".
** No Scooter Butt is allowed on my trips!! There will be plenty of stops on the way to stretch, smoke a cigarette, or use the
restroom. Please, no alcoholic beverages while daily riding on my trips. This not only puts you, but others, in danger. Roads
we ride are unfamiliar and quite curvy. There will be time for a cocktail or two in the evenings.
** After a good breakfast, at Miss B's, we will ride the first day (May 30) to Cabool, Mo., (approx. 300 miles) with a stop at
HaHaTonka state park, and spend the night at America's Best Value Inn. Their rates are a little high, ($72 and up) but it is
clean and friendly. We will have dinner at the truck stop down the road.
**Next morning it is off to Ozark, Ar. (approx. 250 miles) via scenic roads such as highway 7 and highway 123 (the little dragon
tail). In Ozark, we will be staying at the Ozark Inn and Suites (May 31). We have stayed there before and they are biker
friendly and have never had any trouble. Hopefully we will arrive early enough to enjoy the bbq we missed out on last trip.
Their rates ($50 to $55) have not changed and are reasonable for our group.
**Friday morning (the added trip) we will venture south from Ozark to Queen Wilhelmina state park located on the Talimena
scenic skyway (approx. 225 miles). We will spend the night ($40 to $50) at the Poteau Inn (June 1) in Poteau, Oklahoma.
**Next morning it's off to Siloam Springs, Ar., (approx. 165 miles) with a stop at Devil's den state park, to spend Saturday night
(June 2) at Budget Inn ($43 and up). Usually we spend the last night in Noel, Mo., but due to scheduling this year, we will be
unable to do so but will do our best to stop and see Justin and Carrie on the way home Sunday. We have not stayed here
before but it appears to be biker friendly very much in our price range.
**Sunday morning we will, regrettably, head for home (approx. 244 miles). Chicken Annie's or Mary's in Pittsburg will gladly
serve us lunch on the way.
** Helmets will be needed in Missouri on the way down and back. Arkansas is helmet free as is Oklahoma. All require eye
protection. Glasses or goggles will suffice.
**The links to the motels and a link of each day's ride route are posted below with the dates.
** Cancellation of reservations, in case of rain or for other reasons, should be made on or before Saturday, May 27, 2012, to
avoid any costs to you.
** Total cost of the trip, including fuel, food, and your own room should be under $500. If you share a room with someone, you
can do it for about $100 less. This is not counting any souvenirs you may purchase along the way.

How about a ride through the northern Ozarks.
